
John has more than 25 years experience in investment banking, valuation, private equity and portfolio management. Prior to Waterloo, he managed investment portfolios at Raymond James and several private equity investments including a cabinet manufacturer (CTS Wood Designs) and a small publicly held metal bending company American Locker Group (ALGI) where he served as Chairman of the Board. He raised private capital for Internet American and participated in its IPO. John has worked for Heartland Capital Partners, a private equity fund sponsored by the Walton Family, Emerson Partners, a private equity firm focused on real estate, Eppler, Guerin and Turner, a regional investment bank, and been an investment portfolio manager for US Trust and Bank of Texas. He is a Director of the Nimitz Foundation and Chair of the Investment Committee. John also teaches valuation case studies to graduate students at the Neely Business School at TCU.
